And without cinnamon buns, we wouldn't have Cinnabombs! @wtfcouldntpickone turns store-bought cinnamon bun dough into little icing-stuffed fried cinnamon bun pies, coated in cinnamon sugar. All you need are three ingredients, and you probably already have two of them right now. So easy to make, it's barely a recipe! We've added some pointers to the video and printed version to ensure you'll make them just as easily at home!

Makes 8
25 min.
Ingredients
1 can (12.4 oz.) refrigerated cinnamon roll
dough (8 rolls)
Vegetable oil
About 1/2 cup cinnamon-sugar
Instructions
Separate the dough into 8 sections and set the included icing container aside.
Roll each section into a 4" circle. Spread about 1/2 tbsp. icing in the center of each circle. Fold the dough in half over the icing and crimp to seal.
Use a deep fryer OR, add oil to saucepan (you want oil to be about 2" deep. In a 2-qt. saucepan that will be about 4 cups). Heat oil over medium heat (about 375°F.) Add cinnabombs in batches and cook for 1 to 2 min. or until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels and coat with the cinnamon sugar. Let cool for 10 min. before eating (this is important to allow the icing in the center to thicken a bit).
How can I make my own cinnamon sugar?
It’s so easy to make cinnamon sugar! For the (about) 1/2 cup needed for this recipe, mix 1/2 cup granulated sugar with 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon. We like to add a pinch of kosher salt, too, to enhance the flavors.
Why can’t I fry all of these at once?
When you’re frying, putting too much food in at once (overcrowding) brings the oil temperature down, which with increase the amount of oil the food absorbs (which will make your cinnabombs greasy or soggy). So, always fry in small batches.
