Me when I saw this Hot Honey Pizza Dip recipe.

Jaw drops to floor, eyes pop out of sockets- the only thing missing is my tongue unrolling out of my mouth like a red carpet. This is what craving looks like. It ain't pretty. Luckily, my desires are pretty simple: this pizza dip, a glass of wine and Netflix. Sure, you could make this to share- it's perfect as a quick last-minute snack for company- it comes together so easily you can whip it up with practically no notice. Actually, you probably should share- since it is pretty indulgent. Thanks to this Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza Dip recipe from @ambitiouskitchen, the choice is yours!

Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza Dip

Makes about 3 1/2 cups
25 min.

Ingredients

16 oz. French baguette, sliced

1 to 2 tbsp. olive oil

1 tsp. garlic powder, divided

8 oz. block cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

1/2 tsp. dried oregano

1/2 tsp. salt

1 cup pizza or marinara sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

20 slices pepperoni

2 tbsp. sliced fresh basil

Hot honey (optional to taste)

Instructions

Heat oven to 400°F.

Mix oil and 1/2 tsp. garlic powder. Brush on bread slices. Season with salt.

Place on baking sheet and bake 8 min. or until lightly browned.

Mix cream cheese, yogurt, remaining garlic powder, oregano and salt until smooth. Spread on bottom of greased ovenproof 9" skillet or 8x8" baking dish.

Spread sauce cream cheese mixture, then layer with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses and pepperoni.

Bake 15 min. or until cheese is melted.

Drizzle with hot honey and top with basil. Serve with bread for dipping.

PS- you can broil for 1 to 2 min. after baking if you want the cheese more browned, but only do it in the skillet. Do not broil in a baking dish.

What is I don’t have hot honey?

The hot honey is optional, but it is pretty great. If you don’t have any, you can mix 1 tbsp. honey with 1/2 tsp. hot sauce or a pinch of ground cayenne pepper! Microwave for 10 seconds to make it easier to drizzle.

Any shortcuts?

You can omit the garlic baguette slices and just use plain baguette slices or store-bought crostini. Pita chips will also work.

How many servings does this make?

Standard for dip is 2 tbsp. per serving. We’ve always thought that was a bit skimpy, though! We are doubling that- so 14 servings (about 1/4 cup each).
